About Village Arts Outreach

Explore, Experience, Inspire

For several decades, Village Arts Outreach has served as a crucial artistic outreach for the Art Center at Spanish Village in Balboa Park. Over the years, thousands of local emerging artists have been given the opportunity to showcase their work in Village Arts Outreach’s intimate, yet professional exhibit venue.

This unique setting, in internationally known Balboa Park, offers patrons worldwide the opportunity to enjoy artwork across all media by these unknown artists, while giving new artists a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Because the artists curate their own show, the experience is not only educational, it’s rewarding on multiple levels. Artists get hands-on knowledge in choosing their best artwork, presenting it in its most appealing light, along with one-on-one interaction with patrons from all over the world. Many of these new artists have gone on to be well-known and highly respected artists. Perhaps this is due partly to the confidence given to them early in their career by this amazing opportunity.

In addition, a solo or group exhibition in Village Arts Outreach is priced at a fraction of the cost of other local galleries.
