The San Diego Silk Guild is an inclusive Community of artists of all different skill levels, from beginner through experienced. The members work together to provide support, opportunities for learning and growth, and to promote the use of silk in original art.

Possibilities in Silk

The exhibition includes works from Various artists, highlighting the many techniques and possibilities of silk. Some techniques highlighted are painting with dyes on silk, Collage, batik, quilting, botanical printing, and 3D.

MediumAll works are at least 90% silk! The techniques vary according to the artist’s interest, background and intention for the completed art piece.
