ARTIST BIO
Lucy Wang is an internationally respected artist and teacher. Her love of nature is reflected in her painting and demonstrates her exquisite mastery of the brush.
She graduated from the National Taiwan College of Arts and studied with master artists in Taiwan. Lucy Wang has taught for more than 30 years in her studio at Spanish Village in Balboa Park, at the University of California San Diego Crafts Center, and at workshops throughout the United States.
Her books, Chinese Brush Painting, Chinese Brush Painting Kit, Art of Chinese Painting, and “How to Draw and Paint Watercolor”, which she co-authored, have been published and distributed worldwide by Walter Foster Publishing, Inc.
Lucy Wang’s holiday cards have been selected by The National Audubon Society, National Geographic Society, The Smithsonian, and UNICEF.
Lucy Wang is currently teaching the art classes in Spanish Village through Village Art and Education Foundation.
