Ira Cosmos
Ira Cosmos is a Ukrainian-born fine artist now based in California, whose life has been intertwined with art from the very start. She works across painting, decorative art, airbrush, and surfaces like canvases, surfboards, helmets, and vehicles. Her imagery often merges the natural and the mystical — forests, mysterious figures, butterflies, oceanic life — reflecting both her boundless imagination and her deep connection to nature.
With a vibrant style rooted in color, mood, and atmosphere, she seeks to evoke wonder, introspection, and the unseen magic that threads through the world.
Karen Haub
Inspired by the landscapes of Coastal California, Karen Haub enjoys spending time outdoors, painting in oil, and considers her plein air work to be a tribute to the enduring, ethereal essence of the natural landscape untouched by industrialization and urban sprawl. She was recently awarded First Place by O’sider Magazine in the Oceanside Museum of Art Plein Air Festival Exhibition.
The brushwork, mark making, and dripping technique she uses in her mixed media studio work suggest the passage of time, and is a poignant reflection of her concerns about the delicate balance between humanity, technology and nature.
Karen has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration from Art Center College of Design and has sold her work through galleries in San Diego, Santa Barbara, and LA. She has also sold work online throughout the U.S. and internationally, and her work has been featured in a collection on Saatchi.com.
She is an associate member of California Art Club, Oceanside Artist Alliance, Laguna Plein Air Painters Association. Her paintings have been awarded and exhibited at The Oceanside Museum of Art, Sparks Gallery, The Studio Door, Gallery 113 in Santa Barbara, North Coastal Gallery, Ashton Gallery, and TAG Gallery in LA, among many others.
Elena Miller
Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, I’ve always felt a deep connection to art. My early career included serving as Marketing Director at the Museum of the History of St. Petersburg (Peter & Paul Fortress), where I collaborated with many renowned Russian artists and held several senior marketing roles. Traveling extensively across the globe enriched my understanding of diverse cultures and artistic traditions, and deepened my appreciation for the beauty found in everyday life.
For years, I dreamed of working with clay. That dream came to life when I took my first ceramics course at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. I was instantly hooked. Clay became a vital part of my life, and I gradually transitioned from a successful corporate career to fully embrace this new creative path. I completed intensive training in ceramic disciplines and all advanced courses offered through the university’s fine arts program.
After relocating to San Diego, I became an active member of Clay Artists of San Diego, Oceanside Museum of Art, Art Alliance, North Coastal Art Gallery, Escondido Art Partnership, and Fallbrook Art Center. My work has been featured in fine art publications, exhibited in numerous solo and group shows, and recognized with multiple awards.
